Buffalo Chicken Dip
Makes 18 Servings
A mixture of light cream cheese and plain Greek yogurt keeps the calories in check for this classic party appetizer.
4 ounces light cream cheese, softened
4 ounces 0% plain Greek yogurt (1/2 cup)
1 generous cup coarsely chopped cooked chicken breast (about 6 ounces)
1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce
3 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
1 to 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Dipper options: carrot sticks, celery sticks, bell pepper strips, whole grain crackers
Place the cream cheese and yogurt in a bowl and whisk until well combined. Spread in the bottom of a 9-inch glass pie plate.
Place the chicken and buffalo sauce in another bowl and mix together until the chicken is evenly coated. Spoon over the cream cheese mixture. Top evenly with the blue cheese crumbles and the green onions.
Microwave until heated through, 2 minutes. Serve warm with your choice of dippers.
