Strawberry Power Smoothie
Makes 2 Servings
This recipe was developed for Cabot Creamery and they used it in their quest to break the Guiness World Record for largest smoothie, at 1,000 gallons! It's a great way to start the day -- the 22 grams of protein will keep you satisfied until lunch.
8 ounces fresh strawberries, hulled (about 1 1/2 cups or 15 medium berries)
1 cup Cabot 2% vanilla bean Greek yogurt
1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
1 scoop Cabot whey protein powder
6 ice cubes (about 3 ounces)
1. Place the strawberries, yogurt, milk, protein powder, and ice in a blender and blend until smooth
2. Pour into individual glasses and garnish with strawberry slices.
